Babylish will be 9 months old this week.

It’s been nine glorious months of motherhood. I’ve made it this far unscathed all thanks to some really good mummy friends. You know the kind of friends you can message at any time of day to ask about green poo or to call when you are having an emotional melt down in asda car park (hey, it happens).

It’s friends like these that make you always feel at home, with a warm cup of tea and a hug. Caring for each other, we know nothing we say will be too weird and we don’t judge. It’s about raising each other up to be the best we can be.

Yes it’s been a great 9 months of friendship. Going through the trials and tribulations of motherhood knowing someone has your back, really, really helps.

Last week saw the end of maternity leave as we knew it, with two of the group returning back to work. To mark the end of a busy working week I decided to have the girls round for our first girly night without the babies.

I’d been sent a hamper of goodies from Moda in Pelle to celebrate the return of everyone’s best friend, Bridget Jones (and her baby!), to cinemas on 16th September.  Can you believe it’s been 12 years since she last made us cringe and hoot with laughter? (wow, I feel old!)

We had a lot to catch up on after a week of work, enjoying some treats from M&S and Patisserie Valerie as well as lots of edible and pampering goodies in the hamper. We particularly loved the Nip+Fab Bee Sting Serum which made our faces look and feel a.m.a.z.i.n.g the next day! There was also a very beautiful Moda in Pelle scarf which I know will become a firm favourite this Autumn / Winter.

Moda in Pelle are also offering one lucky reader the chance to WIN a Girls Night In Hamper including lots of pamper products and a beautiful pair of Moda in Pelle shoes. All you have to do is follow the link and answer a simple question – Who played Mr Darcy in the Bridget Jones movies?

And of course decide which kind of a shoe girl are you? Do you love heels like Rachel, Brogues like Nicole and Sarah or are you a Boot girl like me?
